The Kirkland
Pozzolan Deposit
A 50-million-tonne natural pozzolan resource in the volcanic highlands of central Arizona — permitted, financed, and advancing toward first commercial production.
The Deposit
Arizona's Premier
Pozzolan Resource
The Kirkland deposit sits within a 2,400-acre land package in the volcanic highlands of Yavapai County — one of the most geologically favorable pozzolan-bearing formations in the American West. The deposit was formed by ancient volcanic activity that produced a thick, consistent layer of high-silica rhyolitic ash.
Independent resource estimation confirms over 50 million tonnes of natural pozzolan meeting ASTM C618 Class N specifications — with silica content consistently above 70% and pozzolanic activity index exceeding 75% at 28 days.
The deposit's shallow depth, low strip ratio (under 5%), and proximity to major Western U.S. transportation corridors make it one of the most economically attractive undeveloped pozzolan resources in North America.

Mine Plan Overview
Extraction
Shallow open-pit mining using conventional drill-and-blast or rip-and-push methods. Low strip ratio minimizes waste handling and operating cost.
Processing
On-site crushing, screening, and air classification to achieve target particle size distribution. No chemical processing or kiln firing required.
Distribution
Bulk and bagged product shipped by truck and rail to ready-mix concrete producers, precast manufacturers, and infrastructure contractors across the Western U.S.
Phase 1 Target
500,000 t/yr
Natural pozzolan — Phase 1 production capacity
